Letter to Buyers and Sellers
As this selling season is slowing, a normal
trend in the market for this time of the year, I expect to see
a longer "selling and days on market" spread. Please
rest assured that with all markets there are ups and downs and
many factors that affect your investment. Good news is
that with a larger inventory, more buyers come into the area
to purchase and showings and offers are made. However,
many offers may come at a lower offering price as long as the
supply and demand are slighted towards the purchaser.
Bay County is looking forward to many new growth areas that
will attract more buyers and prospective investors over the
next year; the long awaited airport has broken ground, the
Grand Lagoon Bridge replacement, the widening of Front Beach
Rd (Hwy 98) and the diminish of an active hurricane activity
in the gulf plus more favorable interest rates are beginning
to be set back in place to enhance purchases.
